As a Principal in our PK-12 practice, Bryan approaches each project with integrity, honesty and transparent communication. Understanding that many clients don’t regularly take on building projects, he leads with empathy, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. He believes there’s always a solution — it’s just about gathering the right information and working collaboratively to find it. He especially enjoys pre-planning and programming, knowing these early stages lay the foundation for a project’s success.

One of Bryan’s favorite moments is attending ribbon-cutting ceremonies, connecting with everyone involved and experiencing the project come to life. He finds it especially rewarding when students and teachers engage with the space for the first time.

Bryan’s passion for architecture started in high school during an architecture class where building a framed model house sparked his interest. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer, stationed in Hawaii and deployed during Desert Storm. His military experience sharpened his problem-solving skills, adaptability and focus — qualities that now strengthen his work as an architect and project leader.

Bryan enjoys photography, travel and playing tennis, finding inspiration in both nature and the built environment. He and his wife Karen stay busy keeping up with their three adult children as they navigate college and the early stages of their professional careers. A fun fact: Bryan and his wife were both Zamboni drivers in college.
