Stewardship

Caring for creation means caring for our planet. By employing sustainable design strategies, from materials choices to energy modeling, we build enduring places of worship that sustain individuals, communities, and budgets.

FGMA focuses on creating efficient, enduring worship spaces that welcome the outdoors inside through exterior and interior design. Employing sustainable design strategies can yield efficiency and cost savings, long-term viability and well-being, both at the community and individual level.

Team

Our Faith-Based team has developed master plans and built facilities for over 100 churches. Every client brings different priorities, histories, needs, and organizational structures. Some communities look for alternative, informal or hi-tech settings to gather and worship in a contemporary atmosphere; other churches seek a reverent and sacred space in which to celebrate the liturgy. FGMA can embolden your community’s spiritual journey today and for decades to come.

As far as I am concerned, First Baptist Georgetown will never interview another architect. I cannot imagine building another building without FGMA being a part of it. They take much of the stress, frustration and consuming of time out of the process of building a church building.

Process

FGMA serves as your partner in energizing your membership and ministry through inspiring and flexible design. We take a church’s specific mission to heart and imbue built facilities with the spaces and design choices that advance their community’s journey. Some clients prefer to direct the course of a project in a small leadership group; others prefer a high degree of membership-based engagement. We are equipped to coordinate the workshops, focus groups, surveys and presentations necessary for a wide range of design approaches.
